Besiktas midfielder Salih Ucan was violently drop kicked by a fan who stormed on to the pitch in the Turkish giants' 3-2 win at Ankaragucu.

The incident occured when tempers were already spilling over, with Besiktas and Ankaragucu players arguing with each other in the centre of the pitch.

The referee tried to calm the situation down but as he tried to do so a supporter jumped the barriers and sprinted on to the field before fly kicking Ucan who had his back turned.

The fan managed to kick Ucan's backside before the pitch invader was shoved to the ground by Josef de Souza - one of two players sent off in the match - having triggered an even bigger melee.

The fan was eventually tackled to the ground by Besiktas players and stewards after his attempts to run away were foiled, with Everton flop Cenk Tosun also involved in the crossfire.

Others then also stormed onto the field as the scenes got completely out of hand at the Eryaman Stadyumu.

Holland striker Wout Weghorst - on loan at Besiktas from Burnley - was also involved in the melee and was seen pointing at his head as he walked away from the eye of the storm.

But one coach did not appear happy with the 30-year-old and confronted him, only for one of Weghorst's team-mates to step in and break up their scuffle.

Ankaragucu's Marlon Xavier was the other player sent off as ugly scenes marred what was a five-goal thriller.

Everton midfielder Dele Alli got off the mark in just his second game for Besiktas, scoring their second goal in the 3-2 win.

The 26-year-old drifted into the box and got on the end of a header from Burnley loanee Weghorst, producing a neat first time finish.

The goal was his first in league football in 378 days and supporters of the Turkish outfit will be hoping that it is the first of many.

Besiktas remain clear at the top of the Turkish Super Lig, two points ahead of Konyaspor.
