The on-loan Manchester United striker struck both goals as Napoli won 2-1 at the Maradona.
Speaking afterwards, the Dane told Sky Italia: "I also like to press and work with my back to the goal to help my teammates. Scoring is always nice but the credit should be shared with the team."
On the instructions from coach Antonio Conte, Hojlund added: "It was about where to attack the goal. They told me to attack centrally, and it worked."
Hojlund, 22, now has six goals in 15 games.
