UEFA reveal 82 % of Euro 2020 tickets will be made available to fans and public

UEFA has announced its ticket pricing and policy for next summer's Euro 2020 tournament, which is to be staged in 12 different cities across the continent.

European football's governing body has pledged that 82 per cent of the tickets will be made available to supporters and the general public, and that one million tickets across the 44 matches will be priced at 50 euros or less.

The first phase of ticket sales will run from June 12 to July 12, with 1.5million tickets being put on sale at this point.

A second phase will follow in December 2019, after the finals draw has taken place. Finally, there will be a third phase in April 2020 when the final four places have been decided by the play-offs.

England have been handed a huge home advantage after Wembley stadium was awarded multiple fixtures for the event.

The home of English football will host seven fixtures, which could potentially see the Three Lions play at least four - and as many as six - of seven matches if they reach the final.

Matches will also be held in Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow, Munich and Saint Petersburg.

Wembley will host the final and semi-finals of the tournament, as well as three group matches and one last-sixteen clash.
