After his participation with the U20 United States National Team, the American striker will have his future in France again but not with PSG, as he's close to signing with Lille.
The future of the young US promise, Tim Weah might be back in France, as reported lately by L'equipe, Paris Saint Germain is in the process of negotiation the sale of Weah to Lille. The 19-year-old striker arrived with the French champions in 2016 from the NY Red Bulls academy.
During the January transfer window, Weah was loaned to the Scottish club, Celtic FC, where he scored four goals in 16 appearances across all competitions and has a Scottish and French league winner medals.
The French League runner-up is in talks to sign the American striker in a multi-year deal of at least four years, while PSG wants at least 10 million euros as well as a significant percentage of any potential next sale, although a deal for Tim Weah is not yet close to being done.

that would be incredible I would have to root for Chelsea because I'm from the usa. But Weah still has some development to progress on. Pulisic is already there, ready to be a premier league player. I hope he does fantastic things for your club
The Chelsea fans will back him 100%. Weah for me has passed the eye test you know when you look at a player the way they are on the ball it's hard to explain but he has that in spades well that's what I think anyways

Tim Weah moving to Lille seems like a great move. Should be able to play regular first-team football for a talented side dedicated to playing its youth.

Wish he went to the "Academy of Football" 😉😂 West Ham could use a striker.

Lille also purchased Dembele who really started to develop and flourish at Celtic. Exact same trajectory as him.

Strange for PSG to sell a promising player to their competition?

Would be a quality move. Lille are a strong team with a habit of developing young talent like Nicolas Pepe who is one on the hottest stars in Europe right now. Jonathan Bamba is another one that springs to mind. Both developed as quick, lethal wingers which Weah might end up as.

Excellent move. Will get a chance to shine on a rather decent European club in a league that will let him showcase his talent. Also has a shot at Champions League game experience. Excited to see him play and hopefully shine!
