Manchester United have offered Alexis Sanchez to Roma on loan and would be prepared to pay most of his salary, claim Italian reports.
According to Tele Radio Stereo, the Red Devils are so eager to be rid of the Chile international that they’re willing to split the wage bill with Roma.
It’s not an inconsiderable sum, as Sanchez is said to be on £350,000 per week at Old Trafford, which with bonuses and image rights takes him up to £500,000 per week.
That’s £24m per year, or approximately €26m a season.
Naturally, Roma would not take him for that figure, which is why Manchester United are ready to pay over half the salary for the 2019-20 campaign.
Sanchez is now 30 years old, but first shot to fame in Serie A with Udinese from 2008 to 2011, when he earned a €26m transfer to Barcelona.
Arsenal followed and he joined Manchester United in January 2018 for €34m, but has flopped badly with only two goals and four assists in 27 competitive appearances last season.

I have a question...why does Manchester United buy overpriced players and give them excessive wages.

what I don't understand is how we planned to over haul the team with out buying players. we still have the same Jose had. nothing changed. we just throw money away and buy a not very good effective player for a madly high cost. that money for McGuire, a purposeful club would buy 3 great young players with that. with this way, united in 4 years time will not survive financial blow. edwood has realy done his plan to damage the image of the club. but is this realy the kind of players and the kind of transfers ole realy wanted? or he is just following the train. this is so sad. Pls y did we not get ordinary Fernandes from sporting? so so sad.
