17' GOAL! Valencia 1-0 Man Utd (Soler)
GOAL! Soler gives Valencia the lead! Once again the danger comes from the right-hand side as Piccini and Mina combine well to get around the back of Rojo.
Mina’s cross into the box is headed away by Rojo, but it falls to the feet of Soler who is able to slot the ball into the bottom left corner of the net from 10 yards out.
37' Pogba with the miss of the season
CHANCE! How has Pogba not scored there?! Fellaini rises highest at the far post to meet Pereira’s corner from the right. The Belgian is able to nod the ball through to Pogba who is unmarked and only a few yards out from goal. Somehow his right-footed effort from four yards goes wide of the near post. What an opportunity.
47' OWN GOAL! Valencia 2-0 Man Utd (Jones)
OWN-GOAL! Parejo looks to slot the ball through for Batshuayi who had made a brilliant run off of Jones. The English defender is able to recover before misjudging Romero's positioning and placing it beyond him into the back of the net from the edge of the box. 2-0.
74' CHANCE! Pereira's long shot saved
GREAT STRIKE! Following a fast break down the right-hand side through Pogba, the Frenchman tees the ball up for Pereira. The midfielder fancies his chances from range and forces a brilliant save out of Domenech as the ball was headed for the top left corner of the net from 30 yards out.
87' GOAL! Valencia 2-1 Man Utd (Rashford)
GOAL! Rashford pulls one back for United! Lingard somehow manages to keep the ball in play as it looked to be creeping behind for a goal-kick before playing it off to the left for Young.
The Englishmen delivers an inviting left-footed cross in the penalty area. Rashford is expertly positioned just in front of the penalty spot to head the ball into the bottom right corner of the net. 2-1.
Match Report
Manchester United failed to snatch top spot in their Champions League group as they slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Valencia on Wednesday.
Juventus' shock loss to Young Boys left the door open for United to go through to the last 16 as winners of Group H, but a Carlos Soler strike and a Phil Jones own goal saw them deservedly lose at Mestalla, although Marcus Rashford netted a consolation.
Jose Mourinho made a number of changes to his starting line-up, with their place in the next round secure and a trip to Liverpool on Sunday looming, and the players on show, including Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku, did nothing to suggest they will keep their spots for that game at Anfield.
The result means little to Valencia, who were already assured of a Europa League place, but the ease with which they claimed only a second competitive win over United will give them heart in a difficult season.

Man United are now officially the universal joke club. I'd like to congratulate United fans on taking over the mantle from the Arsenal fans. May you keep it for times to come. Jose in 4 Life. Pogba still better than Kante to United fans. Classic Jones. It wouldn't be Jones without the Own goal or giving away a penalty. Might as well have played Greenwood when he's your biggest prospect and someone who could have potentially affected the game but I guess that's classic Jose, no chance for the youngsters unless his backs fully against the wall. Thank God we don't have current Jose at chelsea, I appreciate all he's done but everyone would have left by now, I'm still surprised De Gea and Martial are still around. Won't even mention Pogba cos he's already halfway out the doors of old Trafford.....Honestly saddening to have gone from a team that won the treble and were possibly the best team in the world to the joke club that they've been after SAF. That's right not just now, but after SAF. The fact they've been successful in both Europe and domestically in the last saved their club from being called a joke otherwise we'll and truly after SAF left they've been far worse than Arsenal apart from the odd 1 or 2 seasons which even then it was scraped 1 goal lead games.... United have become a joke club...

People trashing Jones in the end of the game. Here you go. This is Jones. No touches with no service, but when he does get it, it's done.
