'Valverde shouldn't be decided by any president; Guardiola will return to Barca'

Victor Font, an entrepreneur who intends to attend future elections for the presidency of Barcelona, told Radio Marca that Valverde cannot be decided by one person & Guardiola is in their future plans.

Victor Font, told Radio Marca that a decision such as the one to dismiss a coach like Ernesto Valverde cannot be in the hands of any president's decision.

"These decisions cannot be made by managers, but by people who know and are dedicated to it. That must be a professional responsibility. Such a decision would be made by the football area," he said. 

"Valverde is a good coach, honest and hardworking, but in recent times we are not faithful to the style of play that has made us different in the world," he criticized.

Speaking of future coach selection, Font's idea is to bet with people like Xavi Hernández and also for the return of Pep Guardiola. 

"We have the great luck of being children of Cruyffismo and the future has to go through that idea," he said. "I am convinced that Xavi will coach Barça, he is very intelligent and true to style, in the future he will be a great coach for Barça." 

"Without a doubt, Guardiola would have a place in our project. The Barcelona players have the obligation to create the conditions for the best coach in history to return to work at the club, because he is working for the competition, so we must do everything possible so that sooner than later Pep returns to work for the club," he emphasized.
