Despite France being set to face Belgium on Thursday in the semi finals of the UEFA Nations League, the pre-match talk was dominated by Kylian Mbappe's comments about how we was eager to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
Raphael Varane was among those speaking to the media on Tuesday, and the Manchester United defender feels Mbappe is well aware of what he should do.
"He has his head firmly on his shoulders, he clearly knows what he wants," the ex-Real Madrid defender said at a press conference.
"It is not my role to advise him."
He also gave a rousing speech that seemed directed at Mbappe, following the youngsters recent disgruntlements while with the national team.
"In the group, it is quite clear: immediately after a game, we are together," he said.
"When things go well and not so well, we take responsibility together.
"We do not leave anyone behind, it is our mentality and our philosophy. We are not going to change it."
