On Saturday, FC Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart will play for the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup.

VfB boss Alexander Wehrle wants the Nick Woltemade issue off the table by then at the latest.

The first reports that the German international has already agreed on a transfer with the record champions became public "six and a half weeks ago." "At some point, it's enough," Wehrle explained.

"I read it the same way as everyone else," Wehrle told the Stuttgarter Zeitung, adding, alluding to FC Bayern:

"If you absolutely want to sign the player, you should also be able to reach a solution within this time. We're playing in the Supercup on Saturday. Everything should be resolved by kickoff at the latest."

On Saturday evening, the DFB Cup winners from Stuttgart will face the reigning German champions from Munich.

"At some point, it's enough."

He then concentrates on the game, Wehrle added, "and in the days following, we prepare for the game at Union Berlin, then Braunschweig, then Gladbach. It's a stretch of six and a half weeks now. At some point, it's enough."

In mid-July, FC Bayern made VfB Stuttgart an offer of €50 million plus €5 million in performance-related bonuses and a ten percent share of the resale. VfB rejected this offer.
