Zeke Emanuel, chair of the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania and advisor to the World Health Organisation (WHO), has warned that events involving mass gatherings might not be able to take place until 2021.
Sporting events and leagues across the world, including the Tokyo Olympics and Euro 2020, have been suspended or postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Emanuel was discussing the future of American sports events on a debate organised by the New York Times but these evaluations can go for other sporting events such as the football season.
"Large gatherings - conferences, concerts, sporting events - when people say they're going to reschedule this conference or graduation for October 2020, I have no idea how they think that's a plausible possibility," Emanuel said.
"I think those things will be the last to return.
"Realistically, we're talking [autumn] 2021 at the earliest."

Bottom-line~~~ Don't Risk It Until It's Absolutely Safe For Everyone. We Simply Can't Afford To Have That 2nd And 3rd Wave Of The COVID-1️⃣9️⃣.
