Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara are back together again - just months after divorcing.

The Argentinian footballer and stunning model announced they have rekindled their love for each other on social media.

The former PSG striker posted a picture of them embracing in the Maldives.

He wrote alongside in a caption: “It was not the woman of my life, it was my life turned into a woman. Disney stories also have second seasons. I love you Wanda.”

But most of the followers of the forward believe that he was making a huge mistake. "This would be like the sixth season", one spat.

Another concurred: "More than a romantic movie, they are a horror movie".”

One quipped: “Can't wait for the next season of the Icardashians.”

A Serie A fan wrote: “If Inter invested in the club as much as NiMauro invests in this relationship we'd be the richest club in the world.”

It's been a long and arduous relationship between the pair - a very much on-off scenario.

Just last week Nara confirmed they broke their marriage of nine years off because he blamed her for his failed time at Inter Milan.

“Mauro asked me to become his agent and I've become quite good in adding or cancelling clauses,” Wanda told Vanity Fair. "I have personality and cleverness, but I am the quiet person, he has a strong personality.”

“He did all on his own. I was putting on paper his desires. Of course, it's easier to blame a girl, especially in a sexist world like football. A few years ago, I had to send a man to replace me to sign a contract because a club president refused to deal with a woman.”

Nara had been Icardi's agent for many years and even broke up with her first husband, Maxi Lopez, when her current man was playing for Sampdoria.

After a number of insults with Icardi, which played out on social media, Nara posted an image of herself in an intimate pose with Argentine rapper L-Gante - but now they have patched things up.

Icardi scored 124 goals in 219 appearances with the Inter and was even their captain in 2015.

He is currently contracted to Ligue 1 giants PSG but he signed a one-year loan contract with Super Lig team Galatasaray in September.
