Speaking to Téléfoot, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery (17) evoked the possibility of spending his whole career at his boyhood club.

Zaïre-Emery, a PSG academy product, broke into the first team last season at the age of just 16. The France youth international has already made 35 appearances for Les Parisiens, scoring twice and registering one assist in that time. Despite PSG’s considerable recruitment in the midfield over the course of the past 12 months, Zaïre-Emery has cemented his place in the starting XI, starting all four matches this season, including Sunday’s 4-1 victory over Olympique Lyonnais.

Zaïre-Emery’s PSG contract runs until 2025, however, it was reported by L’Équipe in August that talks over a renewal are underway. Those talks got underway amidst reported interest from some of Europe’s elite, including reigning Champions League champions Manchester City.

However, despite elite-level interest, speaking to Téléfoot, he spoke about the possibility of remaining with PSG for his whole career. “When I went to see matches, my dream was to play for PSG, to spend my whole career at PSG, and to win every trophy possible. Spend my whole career at PSG? Yes, why not,” he said.
