Arsene Wenger praised Carlo Ancelotti, but warned “it’ll be a very difficult task for Napoli to get past Arsenal” in the Europa League.
The two clubs will face off in the quarter-finals on April 11 in London and April 18 at the Stadio San Paolo.
“I will be an Arsenal supporter on the night of the match with Napoli, just like every other game,” Gunners legend Wenger told Il Mattino newspaper.
“I don’t need to give Unai Emery any advice. I love Carlo Ancelotti, one of the greatest Coaches of all time, a real maestro on how to work with teams.
“Having said that, Arsenal are a great team and it’ll be a very difficult task for Napoli to get past them into the next round.”

Still loyal to his club. Even when the Arsenal fans abused him for not stepping down, Wenger respected each and every fan of Arsenal. Where else can we find someone more loyal then him ? Arsene has my respect

I think it was disgusting behaviour from the arsenal fans to abuse Wenger week in week out, and as soon as he leaves, treat him like a legend. I do like Arsenal, but some of the fans need to grow up. Did Man United do this to Alex Ferguson when he lost? No they didn’t, even though the united fans gave high expectations. It’s a wonder that Wenger still likes Arsenal, and it perhaps shows what a great person he is. Respect 🙌

Wenger, well spoken indeed. He is the man who influenced the change in the way football is played in England. The reason I am an Arsenal fan. Surely Arsenal is going past Napoli, all the way to the finals.
