The former Arsenal manager does not believe Daniel James, Aaron Wan Bissaka & Co. can fire the Red Devils to Premier League glory this season
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United is squad is too green to be successful, according to Arsene Wenger’s assessment of the Red Devils.
‘When you see Man United they are one of the examples where there is a potential there, but they have not found a collective way,” Wenger told beIN Sports
“Maybe these players are not mature enough to carry the team play of a team like Man United all together.
“That’s the big question mark now. You feel there is something coming out but it’s not ready.
“That’s why I say when you watch them play they are not candidates to fight for the championship.
“Will they emulate what Giggs, Scholes and Beckham did over a number of years? Personally, I’m not convinced.”

I see almost everyone criticizing Wenger but he has a point, our young players can't be the one holding up the team, the only bad thing is that what Wenger said was opposite to what he believed, other than that Wenger has a good point

Wenger introduced so many youngsters in his time and he says this? Even ole said we need 3 windows to build a team and ole did what other managers didn't even try which is selling and loaning deadwoods in the team..It's the management to be blamed for not signing players he wanted especially midfielder.. May be ole is not experience enough to carry united but I am sure our youngsters will step up in a season or two and the same Wenger will change his statements... Manchester United will rise again

Not everybody who makes a comment we will be feeling ashamed of ourselves or feeling jittery..Even Satan can make a comment that seems to represent light but d content is important.... Even some people want or have predicted d sack of Man u coach, it cannot work for them..... United need to make a big dip into the transfer market in January and next summer. They are short some real experience at the moment. A central defender is a must as well as two midfielders and a proven goal scorer. That adds up to four new players. They need someone like Sergio Ramos in defense and Erickson and Bruno Fernandez in midfield. They also need a Cavani to lead the attack. Then United would be ready to take on the best in Europe plus the PL. It doesn't have to be these exact players I have mentioned but players like then. Just a thought.

He is saying tho that Man United wont win anything on young talent alone as there is no experience or raw natural talent like of Christiano Ronaldo that preludes just strength to carry a team when needed. Even than tho a young Ronaldo succeeded with the help of a mature experienced Man United. The current Man United does not have the leadership or experience to carry a young squad to any silverware this season but shows promise for the future
