Bradley Barcola insisted that Paris Saint-Germain are "not out for revenge" against Chelsea as the two sides prepare to meet in the last 16 of the Champions League.
The Blues defeated PSG 3-0 in the final of the Club World Cup last summer, with Cole Palmer scoring twice before assisting Joao Pedro in the first half.
Joao Neves received a red card late on for pulling Marc Cucurella's hair, while a scuffle also broke out after full-time following an altercation between PSG boss Luis Enrique and Chelsea's Joao Pedro.
PSG's imperious form at the end of 2024-25 saw them lift their maiden Champions League trophy, and they overcame Monaco in the play-off round to keep their hopes of retaining their title alive.
Barcola believes PSG have put in the work to go far in the competition again, though he expects a tough challenge in Chelsea.
"We're not out for revenge because this is a different period and a different competition, but we really want to win this double header," said the 23-year-old.
"We know that Chelsea are a very good team that plays well, and we know that it'll be tricky, but we've worked hard.
"We're hungry for wins, so we'll do everything we can to win. I think that we're always capable of going above and beyond, as we've shown on more than one occasion.
"We all like games like this, and we work extremely hard to get to play them, so we're giving 100% in order to be ready."
PSG and Chelsea last faced in the Champions League in the last 16 in 2015-16, with the French side winning both legs 2-1.
Luis Enrique's side are the top-ranked team in the Champions League this season for possession average (69.7%), build-up attacks per game (7.3) and pass completion rate under high-intensity pressure (85.7%).
The Spaniard is hoping to see an impressive performance from his side at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.
"We're preparing in the usual way, and we're highly motivated because we're playing in the world's best club competition," said Luis Enrique.
"That's very important to us, and playing at the Parc is always special. Our fans' support is vital to us.
"We're glad to be able to experience these moments with them, and we'll give everything to get a win for them."

PSG, don't think about revenge because it will not help you as a team. What is pass is passed. You were seriously beaten by Chelsea. That's football. They can come again to repeat it. And they will it. Nothing missing. Nothing broken.

What is this cowardly club saying? Your football association is giving you a helping hand by postponing your local fixtures against minnows because you are scared of my most famous mighty Chelsea, the reigning club world cup champions!COYB; KTBFFH 👍👍👍👍
