Lionel Messi has been linked with a move for to Inter Miami quite some time, and according to The Athletic, the American franchise are confident of securing his signature.
Messi is in the final months of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain and his future is still undecided, and he will have an idea of where he’ll be playing after the conclusion of his World Cup campaign.
Today, it was reported that Inter Miami are growing confident of getting the player and want to get the deal done in the upcoming months.

David Beckham, who is a co-owner of the franchise, spoke about that possibility in the past and revealed his thoughts on a possible signing back in February.
Inter Miami move a possibility
The franchise and player have been in contact for some time and a deal could finally be concluded in 2023, which would make this the biggest signing in Major League Soccer history.
"I've always said I want the best players in our club and playing in our shirt because there's a certain expectation," said Beckham when asked about signing Messi in February.

"Unfortunately, sometimes it can be a bad thing. But most of the time it's a good thing. When I first started this project, people were saying, 'This guy is coming, that guy is coming, [Cristiano] Ronaldo is coming, Messi's coming'.
“At the end of the day, we need to win, whether it's with the young kids or stars. Our fans will be happy if we have stars on the team, but they'll be even happier if they're seeing young players coming through our academy and lifting the MLS Cup."
Other than Messi, Inter Miami have also been linked with former Barcelona stars Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets, meaning the trio could recreate their Blaugrana magic in Miami from next year onwards.
Barcelona have also been linked with a return for Messi, with President Joan Laporta keen to bring him back, and more will be known about the Argentine's decision in 2023.

GOAT Messi has business interest in Miami doesn't mean he would play football in Miami.

Just wait and see how it plays out
Of course, but I like making future predictions just like everyone. Otherwise, if I only speak after, that’s hindsight…

I wonder if Beckham is just pulling a Laporta. Creating publicity to get more attention and keep their clubs relevant by tieing themselves to Messi. I don’t believe Barca are serious about Messi, It makes no sense given their current situation, that keeps getting worse. I think Beckham is hurting financially. His failing club, inter-Miami, must be struggling and being from the US, inter-Miami is a joke.

Inter Miami must be one of the richest teams in the world to afford Messi, Suarez, and Busquets, or will All Football report next that they will all play for free?
