West Ham captain Declan Rice is expected to leave the club this summer with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all vying for the England international's signature
West Ham fans spotted captain Declan Rice complete a lap of honour on his own after already completing one with his team-mates after their last home game of the Premier League season. The Hammers beat relegation-threatened Leeds United 3-1 at the London Stadium with Rice scoring a crucial equaliser in the game.
Hammers fans noticed their captain complete a lap of honour on his own after the customary team lap of appreciation following the victory against Leeds. Many on social media feel that Rice did this as he 'knows' it's his last match as a West Ham player at the London Stadium - with a move to Arsenal growing increasingly likely.
Reports this week have suggested David Moyes has requested three Gunners stars as part of a player and cash exchange for Rice. According to FootballTransfers, senior figures at West Ham want a lump sum up front for Rice, which is said to be between £85-£95million.
FootballTransfers claim that the Arsenal players Moyes has his eye on are Reiss Nelson, Folarin Balogun and Albert Sambi Lokonga. Interestingly, the former sees his contract with the Gunners expire at the end of next month and he'll soon be available for free.
West Ham's last game of the season will be played in the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in Prague on Wednesday, June 7. It would be the perfect way for Rice to leave the club if he is able to lift the trophy after taking over as captain following Mark Noble's retirement last year.
