Jude Bellingham continues to be linked with a transfer to the Premier League, where Manchester United and Liverpool are eager to sign the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.
Since moving to the Bundesliga side 18 months ago, Bellingham has done nothing but impress at the highest level.
REVEALED: The most valuable players in the world
This was certainly the case during Sunday’s league clash with Arminia Bielefeld, in which he created his side’s goal in a 1-0 win with a fine pass.
His all-around performances have won him widespread acclaim and the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the world.
Bellingham himself as said that he is not in a rush to move back to England, where he made his professional debut with Birmingham City, but that is not about to stop the rumours.
Both Manchester United and Liverpool are crying out for additional cover in the centre of the midfield, and the Englishman would fit the bill for both.
But how much would they need to spend to attract him to either Old Trafford or Anfield?
Jude Bellingham’s transfer value
FootballTransfers values Bellingham at €78.5 million – making him the 16th most valuable player in football.
This value is reached by using an algorithm that uses hundreds of in-game data points to gain an accurate assessment of his performance and, therefore, value on a match-by-match basis. It also takes into account such as contract length, age and status of the club he is playing for.
Dortmund, meanwhile, will be reticent sellers this summer. After seeing Jadon Sancho depart for Man Utd last year, they are almost certain to see Erling Haaland leave in 2022 and if the England star was also to depart, this would leave a second major hole to plug.
Perhaps the only saving grace for the clubs after him is that Chelsea have dropped out of the running due to their imminent sale, taking a big-spending competitor out of the bidding.
If either Man Utd or Liverpool are to be successful in signing Bellingham during the summer transfer window, it will take a monumental effort.

78m without any trophy value...do Chileans, Mexicans, Algerians, Croatians, Italians or even Brazilians of same age and exposure cost as much?? English over-hype all over again. next, he'll come into the premiership amidst pressure and fail - not from his fault...but the FA-backed media craze. waka joor!

what has he won so far ?anything english always costing plenty...when last England won something???
Sometimes the premium paid for 'English' players is because they don't eat into the limit of foreign players imposed on teams. Premier teams can have as many English players as they want but foreign players are limited. So when a good English player is signed and effective the club can look afar without worry of breaking the rules. Looking afar means quality for a lower price. In, say a striker position, the club can save a lot of money. So sometimes it's worth securing a position with a good English player because it means other positions could be filled by either English or foreign options.
