Inter Miami might unveil a third kit for the MLS season. The specialized website renowned for leaking club and national team uniforms, Footy Headlines, leaked what would be the third jersey of the team where Argentine star and 2022 Qatar World Cup champion Lionel Messi plays.

Dolphins inspire Messi jersey

The jersey catches attention as it departs from the traditional pink that became globally recognized since Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami. Instead, Nike seems to have drawn inspiration from another team in the city, namely the Miami Dolphins of the NFL.

“It’s the first time Inter Miami has a third kit. The color evokes memories of the NFL team Miami Dolphins,” stated the website, which then went on to describe the jersey expected to be unveiled by the team led by Tata Martino in the upcoming days.

After unveiling their first two uniforms: the first featuring a pink jersey, the second in black with hints of the trademark pink associated with David Beckham’s team, this time they opted for a turquoise blue with orange and white accents, closely resembling the colors worn by the NFL’s Dolphins.

Moreover, beneath the team logo lies the word ‘Miami’ in white letters, accentuating the uniform further. The collar and sleeves of the jersey sport orange and white colors, adding a touch of elegance to the ensemble.
