All the names I see in the comments section are not underrated....underrated means under appreciated where hardly anyone knows who you are....for me John Obi Mikel and Ighalo are underrated Africa players because I barely knew 2 of them until seeing Mikel in Chelsea and Ighalo in Watford

Iwobi's uncle, Jay-Jay Okocha. In terms of individual skill as an Attacking mid he's close to, if not on the level of or better than, Zidane and Ronaldinho. Trophies made Ronaldinho and Zidane far better. I'm not trying to make a case he's better than Zizou or Ronaldinho but I feel he didn't always get the plaudits he deserved for his exceptional ability on the ball. The fact he's from Africa and not winning too many big individual and team honours plus his relative lack of goals (scored *only* 99 career goals in 527 appearances for club & country). Always a joy to watch, Okocha is one of my all time favourite African players

All those who say Asamoah Gyan please like here because you are correct. Don't understand why he is not included among the best African players. Surely because of that famous penalty everyone knows
