Why did Mbappe cover up the sponsor on his PSG polo shirt?

A key week lies ahead for the future of Kylian Mbappe. The French player admitted on Sunday that his future is all but decided and, before the last game of PSG's season on Saturday against Metz, the striker could announce that he is leaving the club.

After the French football awards, Mbappe made a quick trip to Doha, where the first team spent a few days at the various facilities that will host the next World Cup.

On their return to France, PSG uploaded several video diaries of their stay in Qatar and one of them shows a curious image in which a number of players pose for a photograph.

Sergio Ramos can be seen holding Mbappe's hand, which is resting on the PSG crest. In just one second of video you can see this snapshot where the Spanish centre-back appears to place Mbappe's hand and uses it to cover the logo, and the reason is none other than to cover one of the main sponsors of PSG: Accor Hotels.

The reason for covering it up, for the moment, is unknown. The curious thing is that the other players in the PSG squad were wearing a polo shirt with nothing just below the crest.
