Wirtz scores 12th goal for Germany at 21 years and 37 days, third youngest in team history

In the third round of the UEFA Nations League A, Germany hosted Serbia. In the second half, Wirtz scored to extend Germany's lead. This was Wirtz's 12th goal for the national team, making him the third-youngest player in German history to reach 12 goals.

According to statistics, Wirtz scored his 12th goal for the German national team at 21 years and 37 days old. Previously, only Edmund Conen in 1935 (20 years and 281 days) and Lukas Podolski in 2006 (20 years and 357 days) had reached 12 goals for Germany at a younger age.
