some people don't understand how this salary thing goes.let me put it in a layman's way ..For example when people are doing the same job.Then they both a job in the same company, when signing a contract they is a salary agreement which each individual negotiates it may not be the same amount but once signed .Tomorrow you can't come and come and complain that why is my colleague earning more than me, simply it's what you are agreed same applies to the employers they can't say no this touches we must change it no.

nope,Diaz was signed from a lower league at the time and was an unknown not making anything near what liverpool is paying him now,hence the reason he signed his contract, i agree he deserves a pay hike for his services because he's been good for us,on the other hand Gomez has been with us over 10yrs,the only player to play under our 3 coaches, Brandon, kloop and slot,he renews his contract overtime because he's with us from a teenager about 18/19yo,so that's the difference but i totally agree Diaz deserves a pay increase but his age is also a factor

There's nothing here about Favoritism or being biased. When Diaz signed for Liverpool he agreed to the deal and a deal is deal until the team decides to renew your contract which is the only way to get an increase. At the time Diaz was signed he and everybody around him knew that the contract was reasonable and way better than Porto's salary. If you hired a plumber to fix your toilet and you both agree on a fixed price and he does and excellent job, do you think it's by force you increase his pay just because he did an excellent job? No! The Plumber can kindly wait for you to hire him again then he can increase his payment.

Why do you guys just talk before thinking? Diaz has not renewed his contract yet since he signed unlike the others. And when Diaz signed for that amount who knew that he would deserve higher pay? The fact Diaz agreed to that salary is because he knew that he was going to earn more than what he earned at Porto and he needed to prove himself worthy if he is to get an increase.
