Erling Braut Haaland can leave Borussia Dortmund for £63million next summer, allowing Manchester United to return to the table for the Norwegian starlet in 2021.
The Red Devils missed out on the chance to sign the 19-year-old this month after he opted to join the German side after being frustrated in discussions with their player's agent Mino Raiola.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have been counting on the signing of Haaland, who has already made a huge impression in the Bundesliga after scoring five times in just two games - but there is now hope for the club to snare him in the future after German site Bild revealed his modest asking price.
Dortmund secured a major coup by snapping up the highly-coveted Haaland for just £17million earlier this month.
United looked to be leading the race for his signature before the shock announcement that they had been beaten to the deal by the Germans, and talks with Raiola ultimately proved too difficult to pull off the transfer.
Sportsmail reported at the time of the transfer that United rejected the demands of Raiola and father Alf-Inge Haaland, because they wanted a significant share of the player's future sales value.
