World Cup Group F standings after Round 1: Sweden lead, Tunisia in last place

The first two matches of Group F in the opening round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage have concluded. 

Sweden secured a commanding 5-1 victory over Tunisia, taking three points and moving to the top of the group. The Netherlands drew 2-2 with Japan, with both teams earning one point. Tunisia currently sits at the bottom of the group.

The next round of matches in this group will take place on June 21st: Netherlands vs. Sweden and Tunisia vs. Japan.

Under the format, the top two teams from each group will qualify directly, while the eight best third-placed teams will also advance.
