Xavi will NOT sign for Barcelona now but could take over in June (MD)

According to Mundo Deportivo, Xavi will not sign for Barcelona now but he could take over in June.

Xavi will not sign for Barcelona now. It is the agreement reached today between the club and the Al Sadd boss after meeting for three times.

Mundo Deportivo has confirmed, now is not the time when Xavi will join Barca, among other reasons because HE has a contract with his current club and wishes to fulfill it.

Barça love Xavi but right now his candidacy is limited to the month of June, when the season ends. The former Barca captain had doubts about when to take the team. And the Barca board, after the meetings, has decided to continue talking,  but the agreement now it he won't take over Barcelona until June.

At meantime, Al Sadd confirmed that Xavi supervised their training session on Sunday to prepare the Qatar Cup final.

The official statement said: "Head coach Xavi Hernandez supervised the first team training session on Sunday morning. The team will take a break on Monday before resuming preparations for the Qatar Cup final against Al-Duhail"

Also, as reported by Cadena Ser, Abidal and Grau will return to Barcelona today. Xavi asks for time to decide and the sensation is that he will sign in June. Valverde will lead tomorrow's training session.
