Lamine Yamal has been accused of disrespecting the King of Span during Barcelona's Copa del Rey celebrations following their chaotic victory over Real Madrid on Saturday night.
The 17-year-old played 120 minutes for his side in the final at the Estadio de La Cartuja, with Madrid shown three red cards and Jude Bellingham restrained as chaos ensued.
Madrid, who had questioned referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea after he broke down in tears ahead of the game, were left livid with the final moments as Antonio Rudiger, Bellingham and Lucas Vazquez were all given their marching orders.
The game had been 2-2 going into extra time, and Joules Kunde netted a 116th-minute winner, leading to wild celebrations from Barcelona's players - including Yamal.
Barcelona have now beaten Madrid in all three of the Clasicos this season, including a 5-2 rout in the Spanish Super Cup final in January after winning 4-0 at Madrid in the league in October.
Away from the chaos, though, Yamal was questioned for his antics at full time, which included being greeted by the King of Spain - Felipe VI.
Footage shared by ESPN showed the Barcelona players being greeted by a number of officials as they collected their medals and trophies, and Yamal had quite the look as he donned two pairs of sunglasses and a backwards shirt.
He joined the likes of Pedri, Raphinha and Kounde to collect his medal, but eyebrows were raised when he got to the King, along the line of officials.
Rather than greeting the King by shaking his hand, Yamal opted to 'dap' King Felipe - a move which involves greeting someone with a casual gesture, often involving slapping palms and embracing with a hug of sorts.
The King is no stranger to Yamal, having met the youngster on a number of occasions and previously being shocked that he was so young yet so successful - and the duo also met after Spain's Euro 2024 final victory over England.
The embrace, though, didn't go down well with a number of social media users, as they failed to see the funny side of things.
'A lack of respect,' one fan posted on X. Another added: 'This boy is really Gen Z lol.
A third wrote: 'A Real Madrid player will be suspended for doing this.'
Yamal continued to do the same action down the line, including with Barca president Joan Laporta, who reached forward to hug his side's star man on the back of their success.

he's only celebrated their win, I don't see how wearing a shirt the other way can be a problem or disrespectful to the king... they were celebrating and still in the moment. Rudiga performed immaturely towards the ref, and the king saw that, why don't you say he disrespected the king?

I think the King liked it. Later someone can then tell the young to be on the lookout for his gestures... He was consumed by happiness really....
