Former midfielder Yaya Touré has expressed strong confidence in Manchester City’s chances of winning the Premier League title, insisting the reigning champions are currently playing better football than rivals Arsenal FC.
The Ivorian legend praised City’s overall approach to matches, highlighting their experience, playing style, and tactical maturity as key advantages in the ongoing title race. Touré did not hesitate when asked about City’s chances of lifting the trophy.
“For me Man City are playing better games [than Arsenal]. Style, experience, the way they approach the games,” he said. “[Will City win the Premier League?] Yes!”
Touré also pointed to the upcoming Carabao Cup final as a potentially decisive moment in the season, suggesting a victory could provide the psychological momentum needed for a strong finish to the campaign. “As a Man City fan, we are there, we are still behind them again,” he noted. “The Carabao Cup final could be a turning point. If Man City win that game it can be a big, big boost. I hope Man City win that game because that one is going to be significant for the rest of the season.”
However, the former midfielder admitted disappointment with their derby performance, criticizing the lack of flowing football and attacking creativity. “I am disappointed about that game. We want to see fluid football, passing, attacking, scoring chances. But at the end of the day we see goals from set pieces. In a derby, it’s strange,” Touré added, calling for a return to more entertaining and dynamic football in high-profile encounters.

Asernal must play good football to win and not the dirty tactics they call setpieces.Shame to Arteta and the F. A who are looking on
You see how you've confused yourself in trying to prove a useless point. What's good football, tell me which team play more possessive football than Arsenal in the Epl ? Sake of cheap data and idiocy you just pick up your phone and exhibit your foolishness. Idiot

He was very careful not to criticize Pep, when he talked about his disappointment with the derby and the team. He is now humble. Lol.
