They went off the road in the vehicle they were traveling in and it subsequently began to burn, and nothing could be done for their lives.
Tragedy struck the roads of Zamora again this morning when, at around 12:40 a.m., two young men, aged 26 and 28, lost their lives in an accident at kilometer 65 of the A-52, in the municipality of Palacios de Sanabria.
The Castilla y León 112 Emergency Center received a call reporting an accident in which a vehicle had left the road, causing a fire that spread to the surrounding vegetation.
A fire brigade from the Northern Zone Fire Station of the Provincial Consortium for Fire Prevention and Extinction, based in Rionegro del Puente, was immediately mobilized and dispatched to the scene of the incident. The Civil Guard Traffic and Health Emergencies Service (Sacyl) dispatched an ambulance.
Upon the arrival of the emergency services, the park's personnel proceeded to extinguish the fire and assisted the health services and the Civil Guard in the necessary tasks.
Unfortunately, medical services were only able to confirm the deaths of two men, aged 28 and 26.
The Zamora Provincial Council and the Provincial Consortium wished to thank all those involved and extend their condolences to the families of the victims.
