Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane spoke after the 4-3 defeat by Real Sociedad that saw his side knocked out of the Copa del Rey. "Something had to happen to let in four goals," said the coach.
"I'm sad, when you lose it means something's happened. To let in four we made too many defensive mistakes. Until this game we did really well and today we didn't. It can happen and won't change anything going forward. It's a bad moment but we tried and I thank the fans for their support for the players.
"Elimination hurts, to tell the truth, none of us like the defeat but we have a game on Sunday and we'll concentrate on it. We have to recover with a big effort, we have to continue, there's no other way."
