Arsenal fans have been left fuming with Oleksandr Zinchenko after the defender congratulated Manchester City on his Instagram account.
City were crowned treble winners on Saturday after beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League final, becoming just the second English side to ever claim the feat.
Zinchenko joined the Gunners from City at the start of the season, having enjoyed plenty of success in Manchester before moving onto a new challenge.
His new side went toe-to-toe with the champions in the Premier League title race before coming up short, leaving Arsenal fans gutted and still waiting for their first title since 2004.
Zinchenko shared City's post about winning the Champions League, accompanied by three clapping emojis on social media, angering Gunners supporters online.
'Nah sell this guy asap,' said one angry Twitter user, sharing Zinchenko's post.
'This is pure nonsense from Zinchenko!' added another supporter, while a third said: 'Zinchenko is pathetic.'
The Ukrainian spent seven years at City, making well over 100 appearances for the club before moving on last summer.
He cost Arsenal £30million, and was regularly seen expressing his emotions on the field of play, particularly after a defeat.
Not all Gunners fans, meanwhile, were critical of the 26-year-old, with some supporters understanding the congratulations message.
'I don't see nothing wrong with what Zinchenko posted,' one fan said. 'That's sportsmanship, we go again next season and hopefully, with all our tools complete, then we watch others congratulate us.'
'Cos Zinchenko plays for Arsenal he can’t congratulate his former teammates?' another said. 'Listen to yourself and hear how stupid you sound.'
Zinchenko's former team-mates partied into the night in Istanbul after becoming the first team since 1999 to win the treble.
Rodri's second half goal was enough for Pep Guardiola's side to lift their first ever Champions League title in what was a scrappy game.

Arsenal fans are pathetic. How is it wrong to congratulate your former team for winning a trophy? it's a normal thing to do.
