According to renowned journalist Romano, Andrew Robertson is eager to join Atletico Madrid, with initial negotiations having commenced.
Earlier reports indicated that Atlético Madrid are interested in signing Liverpool left-back Robertson, with the Scottish defender being the priority target for Atleti's left-back recruitment. Romano's latest report states that it is understood Robertson is keen on joining Atlético Madrid, and preliminary talks have started.
The 31-year-old Robertson joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017. His contract with the club expires in the summer of 2026, and his current Transfermarkt value is €18 million.
