After the game, Spain’s refereeing technical committee confirmed that the semi-automated offside system malfunctioned at that moment.

The image they showed on TV didn’t show the exact moment when Fermín kicked the ball. There’s an image of Fermín shooting while the defender is a meter away from Lewandowski.”

trying to understand football!!! this is a two-legged fixture and every go counts. we lost the game Yes! But what if the second leg we win by 3 goals 🤔 that's when others will understand the importance of that wrongly disallowed goal.

Anyway, we got defeated by a strong Atletico not by Albacete😀. let me remind you Vardidid fans: we are not going to be trophyless this season we have already won a trophy at the expense of Vardid. we are toping La Liga, doing well so far. as for Copa the tie is not yet won we have still the 2nd leg to play at home. even if we lose that one it's not a big deal, because we won Copa last season by eliminating Madrid again. we have more Copa del rey trophies than any side. last night was our worst match Atletico were better side the deserved to win, but we are fine and we move on!!!
