Takefusa Kubo was the centre of attention as Real Mallorca and Athletic Club played out a scoreless draw in Palma on Friday evening.
The Japanese youngster was key once he came on shortly after the hour mark, and his performance caught the attention as he played on the right and threatened throughout.
In the 82nd minute he moved into the box and dazzled Yuri Berchiche with a step-over, skipping by him to be fouled for a penalty.
Abdon Prats stepped up and missed, before Aritz Aduriz missed his own spot kick for Athletic Club 10 minutes later.
Kubo also won a freekick that Real Mallorca did have the ball in the net from, but their goal was ruled out for offside on that occasion.

Actually it was better to Loan Kubo and let him play and gain experience against the top tier LaLiga teams instead warming bench with Real Madrid or be a part of Castilla playing against lower division teams. Same case for Regullion and Ceballos. But it was a mistake to sale out Marcos Llorente.
