"Arturo Vidal has a fever and will not be able to play in today's game. His place will be taken in the squad by Sergio Busquets," said Barcelona in a statement ahead of the Copa del Rey round of 32 clash with Cultural Leonesa.
Vidal was going to start the game but the Chilean's illness means his spot in the side was taken by Ivan Rakitic, while Sergio Busquets moved up to the bench instead of being totally rested.
Another option would have been to add Coutinho to the side but in the end Ernesto Valverde went for the Croatian.
