Following the finish of matches of Group F, all of the AFCON 2019 Round of 16 finalists are confirmed, Nigeria will take on defending champions Cameroon while Salah's Egypt will face South Africa.
The Super Eagles must find their way past the Indomitable Lions to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the competition. They now face the Indomitable Lions who booked their place in the knockout phase after Benin Republic held them to a 0-0 draw at Ismailia Stadium, Ismailia on Tuesday.
Despite winning just one match in Group D of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals in Egypt, South Africa are through to the Round of 16. After making it through as one of the best third-placed finishers with three points, the South Africans relied on other teams to reach the knockout stage. South Africa will now take on Egypt in the Round of 16 at the Cairo International Stadium on Saturday.

I can see a lot of people talking much about all football maked a mistake by saying 16th finalist. please go back and read carefully. I know am not good in English but at least I'm able to understand this one. 16 finalist means the 16 best teams from the group stage(4 teams in each group of which two will qualify or three in case of any best looser). this 16 finalist will be paired in 2s which will make 8 football matches to be played (8th finals). round of 16 is still talking about the 16 finalist that will play the 8th finals. if you say 16 finals, you are talking about 32 teams. I need your reactions
