For me...This is the game of the century,this match made the world realise that Liverpool are back to their culture...The match made us realise Guardiola is beatable and it was the start of Liverpool going ahead of city in head to head games...I just can't forget it

Manchester city 2-3 Manchester United. I can't forget this match. man city were waiting to be crowned champions if they defeat man utd .they were 2-0 up in the first half, but everything changed in the second half and they were made to wait much longer for the epl title. Roma 3-0 Barcelona It came as a shock wave but then it was expected. Deep down somewhere in the hearts ,fans knew. but we always keep ourselves optimistic,,, I actually sat and watched the tragedy unfold in front me, live, in the middle of the night,,, Still baffled about how they managed to play so badly,,, Yeah there had been bad defeats before, but this one was just inaction at its best from a team that had defended and attacked well this season,,, With due respect, Roma is not a great team. Its a good team. But Barca managed to make them look like Champions because of their own pathetic display. The actual Roma and Barca came into the picture in the last 10 minutes of the game. But it was too late by then,,, What gutted me the most was that, this was the 100th UCL game of Iniesta and Messi together. The two little legends deserved better from their Barcelona team mates,,, For most of us, its now a case of ifs and buts. whatever has happened, its done and dusted. Time to move on. HOPE WE MEET THEM AGAIN

why isn't levante v barca getting some votes it wasn't match of the year but it's up there with the best levante beat freaking barca who on a astonishing 36 game unbeaten run we expected Real or Atletico to end the run but they failed

As my favourite player is Cristiano Ronaldo. So his best ever ever ever performance is the best in the whole year. Ronaldo (4'P, 44',88')... Deigo Costa (24', 55'), Nacho(58'). I can never forget Ronaldo's sensational hat trick in the world cup, where he became first player to score hat trick against Spain in the FIFA WORLD CUP. He scored hat trick even against the best defence Ramos, Pique, Alba and the cat like Goalie De Gea.

My favourite match was definitely Dortmund vs Bayern. DER KLASSIKER!! (Excuse me if it’s the wrong spelling) Everyone thought Bayern was gonna win because they’re so dominant but Dortmund proved everyone wrong and showed why exactly they deserve to be the Bundesliga Champions!!

for me, the game of the year was Portugal 3-3 Spain. It was an incredible display that had many thinking Ronaldo was gonna carry his team to the wc final and go down forever as the goat of football. It was a moment of sheer brilliance on the biggest stage in football and I couldn't believe what I had seen when that freekick hit the back of the net. The other games that come to mind for me are the games in which liverpool defeated man city. All year, city looked unbeatable. They even beat us 5-0 (I think that was the score) on our first meeting in the 2017-18 season, due to liverpool playing with 10 men after a Mane red card. After the victories against City, the world finally understood that this liverpool side is one of the most dangerous sides in the world and they can compete with anyone.

To me this was the best match seeing Ronaldo scoring Hat trick to enable Portugal qualified, it shows how potential and loyal he is to his country and not only club, making him a great player.

Barça Vs Madrid is getting most votes because the elclassico has the highest views in the world.... This is most due to the Ronaldo Messi Rivalry over the years. This match caught most attention because, it was the first first El classico in 10Years without the 2GOATs. However, it ended up that the match was over hyped and one-sided. Hence, it wasn't competitive and can't be the match of the year. No suspense, No intrigue, to tension. The game was a work over. To me, Portugal Vs Spain, ManCity Vs Liverpool Were the best games of this year because of the high intensity

For me it was France vs Argentina, this match was the hardest after the game was from comeback for Argentina to comeback for France, Messi tried to make another comeback, but you cant do anything with Superb Higuain on the pitch....
