Journalists Jorge C. Picon (primarily associated with AS) and Marca reporter Sergio Valentin have jointly reported that Real Madrid's management is clearly disappointed with the team's performance this season. President Florentino Perez and other key board members had higher expectations for Mourinho's return, especially since the coach reportedly had complete autonomy in assembling the squad this summer.
The main criticism focuses on the team's playing style, which the club believes does not meet its ambitions and is too similar to last season's approach. Last season, Real Madrid's performance was disappointing, ultimately failing to win any trophies. Although the players still support the coach internally, management is increasingly concerned about the team's lack of a clear playing style.
According to Valentin, Florentino Perez is already preparing for a potential parting of ways behind the scenes. The club president has also confided in those close to him that he has a clear successor in mind for the coaching position: Didier Deschamps.
The 56-year-old Frenchman has been out of work since leaving the French national team after 14 years in charge. Deschamps led France to the 2018 World Cup title and reached the final of the 2022 World Cup. He left the French team after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where the team finished second. At the time, he specifically stated that his resignation was not due to athletic reasons, but because of a difficult external environment, and he did not want to cause further harm to the national team.
After 9 league rounds, Mourinho and Real Madrid are already 7 points behind leaders Barcelona and face a crucial stretch of fixtures. After the Champions League match against RB Leipzig, the team will play an away Clasico against Barcelona next Sunday.
This match could determine the Portuguese coach's future. Since returning to Madrid, Mourinho has won 9 of 11 official matches. However, if Real Madrid delivers another disappointing performance against Barcelona in this highly anticipated clash, according to the latest rumors, Mourinho's early departure would be a realistic possibility.

This to me was a marriage made in hell. He will at best be sacked next season for they won’t win La League or the Champions League that’s a certainty. I don’t understand why they had him back.
marriage made in what? Lol they know why they brought him in and nobody is expecting a miracle because nobody is JESUS

Mourinho has never been a good coach, and will never be. Let him be shown the boot quickly. Deschamps could do better
When has be never been a good coach. Doing what nobody has ever done with Porto. Winning the Europa league and winning UCL the following season? should I continue?

I believe mourinho doesn't care as long as he gets his cut when he is fired. That is how he is making money
See lies. See rubbish. You think Perez didn't know why he brought him back. Perez is going on a fight against Tebas and the Negreiga case And the referee. who is the best spokesman for protesting the club in the media against referee? Is it not Jose

They should allow him to rebuild the team. This idea of sacking coaches creates instability . Madrid is too hasty to sack coaches and they will continue to suffer.

Since his days at Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, Mourinho has never won any league title with any club despite coaching top clubs in the countries he has worked. His tactics are outdated. Currently in Madrid, only Arder Guler is playing at a good level; a number of the rest are struggling.
This one only watch football matches in the grave. Mourihno won trophies (The Leagues) in all those clubs you mentioned and even won Champions League at Porto and Inter

What a rubbish report! Real Madrid knew exactly why they brought back Mourihno and he's gradually achieving that. So quit your hatred and rest! Agenda has started after they thought he won't get results and he proved them wrong.
Thank you. i love this. I even wrote under it too. Someone Perez begged to come.

I haven’t been watching but Real Madrid have been winning most of their recent matches.. why aren’t they happy with Mourinho?
Do you mind those Barcelona reporters who wants to put commotion in our squad. They are more interested in Real Madrid than in their own club
