Gerard Armand, the cousin of Eric Abidal, has stated that he will be present in the open investigation in Spain for his liver transplant to the current sporting director of Barcelona.

The cousin of the former French international has assured that he is willing to testify and to undergo medical tests to prove that the donation existed.
A worker in a factory, Armand points out that after the operation in 2012 contact with Abidal was scarce but that he recovered intensely in July, when the justice system became interested in the case.
"I had not heard from my cousin since October," Armand told Le Parisien.
"I heard from the press that they had reopened the case but I do not know why.
"I wanted to have access to the summary because I live in total uncertainty, I need to clarify this case because it obsesses me," he says.
Armand is now keen to do whatever it takes to solve this situation.
"The world is crazy and you know that anything is possible.
"This case obsesses me.
"I search for news on Google all the time so I have decided to present myself as a civil party in the investigation, to have access to the dossier," Armand stated.

The truth is crystal clear. Opening investigations on this matter is a waste of time and resources.
