Gabby Agbonlahor has admitted that he loved watching Jack Grealish's celebrations after winning the Treble with Manchester City - largely because of the inevitable bitter reactions from fans watching the forward.
Grealish was front and centre in the Citizens' well-documented celebrations in recent days, starting after their historic Champions League final win over Inter Milan.
After winning the final in Turkey, a number of players including Grealish flew to Ibiza to celebrate the win before landing back in England, where they took part in a trophy parade on a open top bus tour around Manchester.
Grealish and other City stars then joined up with their national sides, with the England men's side meeting at St George's Park before jetting off to Malta on Thursday for an international fixture.
And although much was made of the physical state that such antics might have left the English international in ahead of two games with the Three Lions, fellow Aston Villa legend Agbonlahor relished the scenes.
'I just love seeing the celebrations because there's so many bitter people out there who it will really make angry and I love seeing how happy he is so I'm happy for the lad,' he told talkSPORT.
'Just seeing him enjoy [himself],' the 36-year-old added, when quizzed on his highlight.
'You've done the work, played in multiple games this season, had the sleepless nights after games – people don't see that part of it where you're shattered, you're dehydrated, you can't eat after games, people don't see the side of footballers where they're putting the work in and how difficult it is to be a professional footballer.
'They've done and now it's time to celebrate.
'The celebrations are on hold for England duty and they'll continue after England duty because he'll have more time off and it's deserved.
'I just see a lad who is living the dream. He's won the treble and he's celebrating as he should do.'
Likely sleep-deprived, the City star was seen still in his match kit before boarding a plane to Ibiza for a quick getaway in the early hours of Sunday before returning for Monday's bus parade.
Drinks followed at the island's Pacha nightclub, before the worse-for-wear City group jetted back home to continue the party.
Grealish drew the cameras throughout Monday's bus parade through Manchester, basking topless in the drizzle and filming the moment Erling Haaland poured a bottle of champagne on his head.
Players continued the jubilation into one last night, with both Haaland and Grealish and a number of their team-mates heading to Depot Mayfield in Manchester.
'I thought I was a party animal,' Agbonnlahor added, 'but he's overtaken me.
'He's always been a party boy ever since he was legally allowed to start drinking. He'd be out with Callum Robinson and his teammates but when you're doing what you're doing on the pitch, no one can question you off it.'
