It seems that Toby Alderweireld 'likes' to join Manchester United

One fan, Gabriel, on Twitter has replied to a post asking which five players Manchester United should sign, and some of his answers are those being linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent time.

Gabriel's five picks for the Red Devils are: Kalidou Koulibaly, Toby Alderweireld, Dayot Upamecano, Alex Sandro (or Danny Rose) and Arjen Robben.

While it looks like nothing more than a normal interaction between fans on social media, one finds it surprising that Alderweireld has actually liked that post.

It will definitely fuel a new round of gossips surrounding the Belgian international, whose contract with Tottenham Hotspur ends next summer.

There is still no progress in their contract extension talks, so Alderweireld is highly likely to leave Spurs either in January or when the season ends.

The 29-year-old centre back has been linked with a Manchester United move for the past two years.

The Sun reported last week that Jose Mourinho is finally given go-ahead by Ed Woodward, United's executive vice chairman, to sign Alderweireld.
