Spain U21 coach Luis de la Fuente has released a pre-list of 25 players for this summer's European Championships in Italy, which will take place between June 16 and June 30.
Real Madrid forward Brahim Diaz, absent since august, 2017, returns to the squad, while Dani Caballos, a regular with the full national team, is also included. Fabian Ruiz has also been included in the U21 squad, while he's also with the Spain squad for the games against thhe Faroe Islands and Sweden earlier in june.
Barcelona are represented by Carles Alleña, while Espanyol's Marc Roca is also named. Ex-Barça youngster Dani Olmo, now with Dinamo Zagreb, also features.
Goalkeepers: Unai Simón (Athletic), Antonio Sivera (Alavés), Dani Martín (Sporting de Gijón).
Defenders: Junior Firpo (Betis), Meré (Colonia), Unai Núñez (Athletic) Aarón Caricol (Mainz), Martín Aguirregabiria (Alavés), Vallejo (Real Madrid), Pedro Porro (Girona).

Most of the called up players are above 21 years...and i don't get it why they are still going to feature...is it part of the rules or what...players Like Cebalos and Ruiz are past 21 and are still going to feature...how🤷🏾
