Pep Guardiola's side have been crowned champions after Manchester United's stunning 1-0 loss at home to West Brom on Sunday
Manchester City are officially Premier League champions!
Manchester United's shock 1-0 loss at home to West Brom on Sunday means that Pep Guardiola's men, who defeated Tottenham 3-1 at Wembley the evening before, have an unassailable 16-point lead at the top of the table with just five rounds to go.
Only Manchester United (1907-08 and 2000-01) and Everton (1984-85) have ever wrapped up the title with as many games remaining, while Guardiola has also become the first Spanish coach to win the English top-flight title.
City, though, also have a few more records in their sights, as Goal outlines below...
Wins
Manchester City have won a total of 29 victories this season, leaving them just two away from Chelsea's record of 30.
The 2016-17 Blues vintage only failed to take three points on nine occasions, but it appears something of a formality that Guardiola's men will break the record, with five games of the season remaining, against Swansea City, West Ham, Huddersfield Town, Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton.
Away Wins
Chelsea's 2004-05 side loved going on the road, winning 15 times, the only team to do so in the Premier League era.
City, though, have won 14 times on the road already and could break the record if they win their remaining games, against West Ham and Southampton.
Points
Chelsea's 2004-05 vintage clocked up 95 points and no side have ever managed to match it.
City, however, now sit on 87, and could reach a maximum of 102 points if they win each of their remaining five games, becoming the first to ever crack 100 in the English top flight.
Away Points
Chelsea took 48 points in the 2004-05 season on the road, and City have so far taken 44. Wins over West Ham and Southampton would give them 50, and have Pep's men holding yet another record.
Goals Scored
City will fancy this one. Chelsea scored 103 goals in 2009-10, and City have so far scored 93 times.
With just five games remaining, they will surely want to smash the 100-barrier.
Points Ahead Of Second
As already mentioned, City are now 16 points clear of United, meaning they could yet break the record for biggest margin of victory. It currently belongs to United, who finished 18 ahead of Arsenal in 1999-2000.
