"I don't believe I have four Champions Leagues," admitted the Italian Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Real Madrid who became the most successful manager in the competition's history after Saturday's 1-0 win over Liverpool.
Vinicius Jr scored the game's only goal in the second half as Madrid withstood waves of Liverpool pressure to lift the trophy for the 14th time in their history, seven more than any other club (AC Milan).
For Ancelotti, it was his fourth success in the competition and his second with Madrid, and he spoke to Movistar just moments before Los Blancos received the trophy.
He felt it was a deserved win and that Madrid "suffered a little in the first half" but the "commitment of the players was perfect."
Ancelotti added: "What we did really well was not allow them to play as direct as they usually do. At the back we were very good, although it's true they had chances, but that was the plan and it came off well."

They still rate Klopp and Gaudiola over Ancelotti Ancelotti, first coach to win all five top European leagues Won champions league 2x as a player and 4 times as a coach and first coach to reach 5 champions league finals, he barely spends in transfer markets 🫡🫡🫡🫡
