Arsenal's work in the transfer window is not complete despite Mikel Arteta having a whole host of new players to choose from in time for his side's Premier League clash with Manchester United

Three weeks of the transfer window remain, but Arsenal have already sewn up much of theirs. The new Premier League season gets underway in a matter of days and the Gunners have seen plenty of change in their quest to finishing one place better than runners-up.

The north London side welcomed Athletic Bilbao in thei final pre-season match with the club's attention now firmly on Manchester United. New signings Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard Viktor Gyokeres, Cristhian Mosquera and Noni Madueke will all be pushing their case for place in the first XI this season.

Arsenal's work is not done however. Persistent links to Eberechi Eze and Real Madrid star Rodrygo continue.

But the exit door may see more attention. The likes of Jakub Kiwior, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Reiss Nelson all have uncertain futures at the club and Andrea Berta will be hard at work to seal deals where necessary.

Mirror Football takes a look at the latest news and transfer rumours around the Emirates.

Arsenal change target

Andrea Berta's focus will now be on player sales rather than incoming transfers inthe final weeks of the transfer window. The Italian sporting director will look to use his expertise and extensive network of contacts to increase Arsenal's success.

The north London side have only generated a mere £8.57m in player sales and there's a recognition at boardroom level that this must improve. Five players could soon be on their way.

Reiss Nelson could yet end up at Fulham, while discussions are underway with Stuttgart for Fabio Vieira's signature. Porto have seen an offer knocked back by Arsenal for Jakub Kiwior, and the Gunners also want to find a permanent exit for Karl Hein and Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Arsenal told to say goodbye

Arsenal have been told that they should sell Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian striker has endured a rollercoaster spell at the Emirates following a £45m move from Manchester City.

Jesus, 28, has scored 26 goals in 96 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal but Alan Smith reckons his time is up. The Brazil internation has seen his time at the club interrupted by injury and most recently his 2024/25 was ended prematurely.

Former Gunner Smith believes Jesus should be moved on following the arrival of Viktor Gyokeres. Speaking to Metro, he said: “I think somebody like Gabriel Jesus might go given his track record with injuries.

"He might be one that you say, thanks, and try and move him on, get a bit of money in. Obviously, with Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz, there might not be too many opportunities for him this season."

Kiwior stance

Jakub Kiwior is interested in leaving Arsenal if he can find a club that will provide first team football. Since joining the Gunners from Spezia in January 2023, the defender has largely been a back-up option.

The 25-year-old Poland international enjoyed a solid run following Gabriel Magalhaes' season-ending injury and has seen a £26m bid from Porto rejected by Arsenal. But that may not end the chance of a transfer due to his interest in exploring options where he would be first choice, per the Athletic.
