Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta is heading for China at the end of the season, according to Catalonia media outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The Spanish maestro has been heavily linked to a move from Barcelona to Chinese Super League in 2018, just like his former teammate Javier Mascherano.

Mundo Deportivo claims that Iniesta has received four 'astronomical' offers from China and decided to accept one of them. However, Iniesta hasn't signed anything yet.

Iniesta will turn 34 in May and it is reported that he dosen't want to stay at Barcelona as an unimportant player. He will announce his decision by April 30th.

Back in January, when Javier Mascherano left Barcelona for China, Iniesta had the same opportunity to leave. But he decided to keep playing with the Blaugrana team to win more titles at Camp Nou, just as another Barcelona legend Xavi did in 2015.

Despite his age, Iniesta is still one of the most outstanding midfielders in the world - starting 30 games for Valverde's side this season.

Iniesta is weighing up the pros and cons of the decision. He has something on the table from Tianjin Quanjian in the Chinese Super League. His people have held various meetings on the issue and after Easter there will be a meeting which could be definitive. Iniesta's doubt is that he still feels a very important player at Barcelona. He is an undisputed starter.

Tianjin want Iniesta after the World Cup, but there is another possibility. Maybe Iniesta will decide to stay until January, playing for Spain at the World Cup and helping Barca at the start of the season - until Arthur is ready to come in.
