Juan Andujar Oliver, MARCA's resident referee expert, doesn't believe that Barcelona should have been awarded the penalty that Lionel Messi converted for their second in their 2-0 win against Leganes on Tuesday.
Messi was brought down after an incredible run into the box, but the former official doesn't think the contact was enough to warrant a penalty.
"It's not a penalty," Andujar Oliver told Radio MARCA.
"There's contact, but it's not enough.
"There were a lot outside of the area, but the contact inside wasn't enough.
"VAR didn't correct it because there was contact, it would have if there was none.
"It's not a penalty."
