He was let off the hook, but MARCA's refereeing expert Juan Andujar Oliver believes that the Argentine should have been shown a straight red card.
"He should have been sent off, even though the ball didn't hit Hernandez Hernandez," Andujar Oliver told Radio MARCA of that 39th minute incident. "With that action, he wanted to intimidate the referee and that deserves a straight red."

Messi should have been sent off. It's the rule. BTW, I'm just mentioning a fact ,this is the same Andujer Olivier who said Ramos shouldn't have got the penatly against barca . it wasn't a penalty. Then every rival fan blamed him and said - who is Andujer Olivier??? But now rivals are supporting him . that's why I say double standard is very harsh for any fanbase.😏

I found out that Barcelona fans are the most untruthful fans in the world,..at some point, they never agrees to messi abnormal behaviors, they even support messi even when wrong...am not a Ronaldo or messi fan...but i do take Ronaldo over messi times without numbers... reason..the messi fans has thought me that nothing ever is wrong with whatever messi does..
