Sevilla are closing in on the signing of PSV Eindhoven striker Luuk de Jong after the two teams reached an agreement over the transfer.
The Andalusians will pay around 12.5 million euros for the Dutchman, and he is expected to travel to Spain on Monday to sign a four-year deal.
De Jong scored 32 goals in all competitions last season for the Eredivisie runners-up and he matches what Sevilla want as they sought a different type of striker that could replace some of the goals lost by playmaker Pablo Sarabia, who is on his way to Paris Saint-Germain.
Meanwhile, the club's sporting director, Monchi, continues to scout the market for another forward that can also play on the wings.

don't know why clubs aren't interested in getting sarabia, his release clause is 18mil, last season his goal involvement in 40, he will be a bargain of the season, real Madrid have buyback clause, so real Madrid can get him for nearly 10mil, he is really cheap & one of best creators in la Liga, 13 assist in la Liga equal with Messi PSG doing smart business
