Ansu Fati was thrilled to score his first goal for Spain on Sunday night and to become La Roja's youngster ever goalscorer, but Luis Enrique's call-up did mean he had to miss his brother's birthday.
As such, he ran over to a TV camera after he scored to fulfil a birthday promise.
"[The gesture with the camera] was for my brother," the player revealed in a post-match interview.
"It was his birthday and I knew I wouldn't be there for it after I received the call-up.
"He asked me to dedicate the goal to him if I scored."
